Having never been a child in Brazil, how are these games played?
"Jogar bafo" sounds like "to hold one's breath". Is that possible? (It is a contest to see who can stop breathing for the longest time. Obviously, children usually do this in a swimming pool.)
And could "pular elastico" be "to jump on a trampoline"? (A trampoline is a large, usually round, device which is springy like a mattress device. When you jump on it, it pushes you up into the air. You see them at school, circuses, etc.)
