- "library" - Do we say /lái-bré-ri/ or /lái-briri/? Because I always hear both forms.
Both are correct as long as you keep the main stress syllable on /laI/.
- "Paul" (proper name) : Is it /Pôl/ or /'Pól/ ? Because as it happens with the word above, I always hear both forms.
This is just a matter of phonetic detail, officially it should be /pól/ but as speaking is not an exact science variations will occur.
- "budget" ; I believe the correct pronunciation is something like /'bujit/ and not
/bud-get/. And "temperature" is like /'têmper-ature/. Am I right?
