Mensagem:  Hey Fabinho, Don't worry about it. We also have problems with the headlines at times. They are supposed to catch our attention and make us want to buy the newspaper. There are sites dedicated to stupid and funny headlines. Here is the url for one: http://headlinehumor.com/headlines1.htm It's full of banners and garbage but if you just keep clicking on the "next page" button you will see different headlines. I like the one that says something about "Studies show teenage pregnancies drop after 25." Well, duuuhhh! Teenage stops when you turn twenty so why would the studies even include people that are 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 or 25? Mostly it is editors that don't think before they write the headline. In today's modern world where so much is done on the computer they sometimes type something erroneous and forget to change it before sending it to the press room. Then the paper has something goofy or wrong. Also, headlines in the papers and magazines known for their sensationalism often have misspelled words or abbreviations that don't really exist. An example in Portuguese is K7. There is no such word but it saves space, people know what it means and in ads it leaves more room for images and prices. If you find a really difficult headline please post it. We'll have a go at explaining it. Some of the text from the article would help. Regards, Tom
