Mensagem:

Now I’m confused about this whole business…

If my friend, Gerald, was totally reliable and had told me: “After I win at the races next Wednesday I am going to go and buy a sports car.”

Would it be possible to say: “"Gerald will have bought a new car by next Thursday"

Alternatively, would it be ok to say:

“Gerald bought a new car yesterday" (if I was making the comment on Thursday)

Thanks guys
