Mensagem:

Dear fellows,

I have a question regarding the plural form of Mechanic.

In portuguese we say "Mecânico" to designate the person who works in a workshop, and "Mecânicos" for its plural form.

So, when I want to say the plural form of Mechanic in English, can I use Mechanics? Or it refers to the branch os Physics we study at school?

Thanks in advance.
