It's interesiting Roberto. I've always thought that Brazilians have a much more pragmatic and progressive approach towards language than the Portuguese people do. But I now suppose it's not so much so.
Who do Brazilians think is their linguistic Patriarch? Is it Camoes?
Is standard Brazilian Portuguese significantly different from the standard Portuguese spoken in Portugal?
