Not a fiction but 'Winning' by Jack Welch with Suzy Welch [Harper Business] is an interesting reading,  it worth every cent and hour spent with it.

Back to fiction, The Physician, Noah´s Gordon work [Fawcet Cress press, it is a gripping story.  Hadn´t he classified as a fiction, I would think that was a real story.

It is set in medieval times, and it is about history, will-power, and a multitude of human traits, the characters well depicted and has an exotic ring in it. Depicting East people as normal (or not so normal) guys, but without throwing biased views as we see in some novels with East characters.

Ah, I read borrowed (from my friends, in my boy days) books written by Monteiro Lobato and later I watched his made-for-TV Sítio do Picapau Amarelo.  It was a must, and as I had not TV at home, I would roam the entire city to find a home that was with

the TV set on, and the front was not that overcrowded already...

     Good ole days...

    See ya.
