Mensagem:  Aren't 'fun' and 'funny' two different words? If tey aren't, why we use 'fun' as an adjective if we can use 'funny',funnier, funniest. In near future I think it will be acceptable to say: fun ,funner,funnest- ( why more,most- if the rule says a monosyllabic word: +er,+est) We can't drop either one because we need both (fun, funny) to express 'funny' , but only 'funny' can mean 'strange' (like : this water has a funny tast). Confused? I did this just for FUN.
