Mensagem:  mjd, I'm sorry, I didn't get you! Why did you say there is no such word: "aptER"?! I mean, what's really buggin' me is exactly WHY is there no such word? APT is a mono-syllable adjective, and according to the grammar rules, the comparative form should be 'aptER', right? Is there some kind of exception in this case? I'm sorry to insist on this, but it's exactly because I couldn't give my own student a proper answer. Thanks again, Lu
