I don't have the reference right now,but as far as I learnt, nasal sounds tend (even if it's a consonant that influences the previuos vowel) to blur the distribution of vowels, so phonetically speaking these vowels influenced by /n/ might be closer in the inventory of one speaker than non-nasalised ones.
