Assunto:  Present Perfect Continuous x Present Continuous?

Got a problem.  "Demais" is often translated as "too", but often a better translation is "a lot¨".

Estuda demais. = He studies too much.  (He studies excessively.  He studies so much that he is unable to do other things.  His health is suffering due to his studies.)

Estuda demais. = He studies a lot. (He studies but not in excess.)

To answer your question, I need to know what it is you want to express in Portuguese.
