Hello!
I'm making a transcript of the 1956 movie "The Solid Gold Cadillac". And I need some help regarding an expression I heard in the movie. Here's the scene:
The stockholders are at the annual Stockholders' Meeting to vote on a motion. The Chairman of the Board then says something I couldn't quite make out but it sounded like: "Proxys, vote high" (or maybe was it "Vote I"??)
I know what proxy means, I'm just wondering about the "Vote high" part. Is there such expression? What does it mean? Did I mishear it?
Thank you! |
