I know I can use 'towards' meaning...in the direction of something. For example: 'He ran towards me.'..meaning he ran in my direction.
I'd like to know if I can use 'towards'when the person/thing or place that I'm going to meet ,find or arrive at.... is far/not visible/ not a straight line... For example: I'm in another neighborhood, I have to catch a bus to go home... Can I say?? 'I'm going 'towards' my house.'(?) 'That bus is going 'towards' São Paulo.' (in the direction of...)
Not sure I've made myself clear...anyway...thanks for now... Student |
