Mensagem:  Hey you guys, I work all day long, talking on the telephone, with people from all over the world. Sometimes I have to SPELL words, and once a start doing it, people don't understand them (the letters). They don't get whether I'm saying P or T or D, for example. In Portuguese, we can spell words saying " A" de Alfa, B" de Beta, and so on. My question is: Is there anything alike in English?? I mean, some kind of 'word standard', which I could use for spelling , that everybody would understand? I don't know if I've made myself clear, but anyway, I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks. Sandra
