Assunto:  how to master vocab
Mensagem:  "Dress shirt" is widely used.  And if a shirt isn't dress, it's usually called "a sport shirt" (meaning that you would never wear a tie with it).  It strikes me that that THAT may be the big difference:  a necktie can be worn with a dress shirt but not with a sport shirt.
