Fran speaks excellent English, so the following is not for her.
Among native speakers it is VERY common to place the "no" after "to" and before the infinitive. It is not standard English, but it is quite common. Don´t faint when you hear it.
I want you to not study so hard. I want you not to study so hard.
He told me to not work after ten. He told me not to work after ten.
