Mensagem:  Helder, you didn't give us the context in which the word is; so it's not so easy to tell you the meaning; I thought you could translate it as 'complexo' or 'problemas' in a more informal language, 'grilos'. here's the Oxford definition of hang-up: Definition hang-up noun [C] INFORMAL a permanent and unreasonable feeling of anxiety about a particular feature of yourself: sexual hang-ups He's one of these men who went bald very young and has a terrible hang-up about it.
