Very interesting. I knew the use of -ish in another context: "How old are you? I'm 40-ish". I have never realized that we could use this suffix in that fashion. By the way, take a look at what my dictionary says: "-ish"
Used in the context of general equities. Representation of an approximation around the prefix number. |
