Assunto:  "Could have come"
Mensagem:  Hi!
I was talking to an australian friend and she said: "I used to teach English as a second Language. You could have come to Sydney and I would be your teacher."
I guess it is right as she is a native speaker, but why did she write "could have come" instead of "could come"?
Thanks for helping.
