Good use of the term. However, I am not sure if it is interchangeable with the target word. It can mean "to change one's opinion/view", or it could mean something more sinister such as abandoning one's friends and family for financial gain. Sell-out? Hmm.... What do you think of that? A sell-out changes sides as and when it suits him. Quisling? He was a Norwegian politician who became a Nazi puppet. To be a Quisling is to change sides when it is convenient/profitable to do so. |
