I see a difference between "order" and "bill/check". The order is what you have requested. It can be verbal or in writing. Basically, it is a communication from the customer through the waiter to the cook. Isto é o pedido. The bill/check, however, is the written document that shows the amount you owe to the restaurant. Isto é a conta. Note the website given by Orlando. The difference in inferred in the dialogue. Note how "order" and "bill" are used in different contexts. |
