My take:

1- I personally don't approve of that kind of term adoption but it's hard .
2- If you ask people do you approve - now that they have it in Massachusetts, do you approve of it?
3- Did you approve of her doing this?
4- I do not approve/approve of this.  Do you disapprove?
5- But you don't  approve/approve of your sister marrying my friend.
6- Parents approve/approve of their children only when high standards are met.
7- Even though you don't approve/approve of his method, everybody here can relate to his message.
8- I don't approve of   vigilantism, and I was really upset when he shot the kid.
9- The law does not approve marriages at age 14.
10- He also does  approve of same-sex marriage.
