Assunto: | ergative verbs (?) - to ETA...gee!!! |
Mensagem: |
What do you mean?? Are you hinting that I´ve pasted this piece of info here to show off? Who has become so smart? People on the net, wikipedia readers, ME??? I was browsing thru the net and came across sth. called "ergative verbs", which, surprisingly I had never ever heard of. I first came here to get some further info on the subject and found nothing at all. As you can notice, I did include the source from which I copied it, so by no means I tried to impress anyone whatsoever. It was a plain straight question. Period. I´ll check the sources you´ve suggested anyway, and then try to get what they mean... Sorry, but your message DOES sound arrogant (I hope I have misunderstood you "eta") All the best (indeed) If someone else can give me a help on it, I´d appreciate (Dale, PPaulo, Fran, CRS, José Roberto, Breckenfeld, Ricardo.....pleeeeease!!!!) |
