In The USA: ônibus pinga-pinga = in American towns you can say "local bus service" or "connector" when that bus route connects to another route or to a bus terminal. "local bus service" is by routes that have stops along the way, sometimes these routes are numbered, other times they have letters and numbers and a direction such as North or South, East or West. ônibus semi-direto = Express. In the USA Express buses have a few stops before getting on a major highway, freeway or avenue. ônibus direto = Shuttle is also acceptable, but Express is more common ônibus interestadual = ônibus de viagem = Greyhound bus = intercity bus cabine de trem = ??? |
